With the continuous promotion of the infrastructure construction, many highway, railway and construction projects come out making the development of sand and stone industry reached a peak and more and more investors put their eyes on the sand and gravel industry. Recently, there are many people consulting the stone crushing production, so I’ll take the 200t/h stone crushing production line as an example to introduce the production line briefly.

Common used equipment in stone crushing production line

The stone crushing production line composed of special machines is used to produce construction sand and gravel. The production line includes several parts, feeding part, crushing part, screening part and conveying part. The feeding parts usually refers to the vibrating screen, the screening part is talk about the circular vibrating screen and the crushing parts includes relatively more machines.

Primary (coarse) crush: jaw crusher

Jaw crusher is one of a commonly used crusher in stone crushing production lines. Its input size is up to 1,00mm, which is very big. And its output size is between 10-400mm, which is large too. So the jaw crusher is generally used in the primary crushing stage. The processing capacity of the jaw breaking machine is also very good, with a large output, which can produce 1-2200 tons per hour. In addition, the jaw breaker also has the characteristics of large crushing ratio, simple structure, stable and reliable operation, more convenient maintenance, environmental protection and energy saving, and good shape of the finished product. It also has a relatively large adjustment range of the discharge opening, which can meet the production of different users demands.

Medium(Secondary) crush: cone crusher/impact crusher

Medium crushing is the second stage crushing in the rock crushing production line. Commonly used equipment is cone crusher and impact crusher. The two types of equipment are different. Cone crusher is suitable for materials with relatively high hardness, while impact crusher is suitable for materials with relatively low hardness, so you need to be clear about the hardness of the materials you produce when choosing crushes.

Cone crusher

The input material of the cone crusher should not exceed 300mm, and the output material is 3-60mm, which are much smaller than the jaw crusher. Therefore, it is generally placed in the second stage of crushing. It is suitable for processing materials with higher hardness like river stones, granite, iron ore, and non-ferrous metals. It has the characteristics of large crushing ratio, high production efficiency, large output, long service life, and environmental protection.

Impact Crusher

The feeding size of the impact crusher is no more than 800mm, which is smaller than the jaw crusher. It is also used in the second stage like the cone crusher. It is suitable for crushing materials with medium or lower hardness, such as limestone, coal gangue, weathered rock, shale soil, dolomite, etc. It has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient maintenance, good shape of the finished product, and low cost. Fine crushing: sand making machine

If you need finer finished products, you can choose a sand making machine, that is, a vertical shaft impact crusher(VSI crusher). The feeding size of the sand making machine does not exceed 60mm, and its output size is about 30 mesh, which is about 0.55mm, so both feeding and discharge size are very suitable for fine crushing. The sand making machine is also called the sand maker, which has the function of shaping, so the material produced is not only fine but also good in grain shape.
