What Is a Diesel Jaw Crusher?

Diesel engine jaw crusher, also called small diesel jaw crusher, is powered by a diesel engine rather than an electric motor. Small diesel jaw crusher is mainly used by customers with a small production capacity of 1-50 tons per hour. It is widely used in the world market nowadays for primary crushing of materials.

Diesel jaw crusher is mainly used to crush hard and medium hard stones, such as limestone, granite, basalt, river gravel or block materials. Its highest anti-pressure strength of material to be crushed is 320MPa.

What Is Diesel Jaw Crusher Used For?

CFTC diesel engine jaw crusher is used across a variety of industries for primary crushing, particularly in locations where electrical power is limited or unavailable.

  • Small Stone Plant (1-50 T/H)

  • Mining and Quarrying

  • Aggregate Production

  • Concrete Recycling

  • Demolition Waste

  • Road Construction

  • Electric Power

  • Transportation

  • Remote Crushing Sites

What Are the Features of Diesel Jaw Crusher?

1. Deep crushing cavity, no dead zone, increasing capacity and output of the feeding.

2. Large crushing ratio 10:1, and uniform product particle size.

3. No need for electricity, driven by a diesel engine, and unaffected by the environment.

4. Safe and reliable lubrication system, convenient replacement parts, and small maintenance workload.

5. The application of tires makes the machine more convenient to move and adapt to various places, especially when lacking electricity or moving machines frequently.

What Are the Parts of Diesel Jaw Crusher?

The parts of a diesel jaw crusher are similar to a conventional jaw crusher, with the main difference being the power source. Here are the key parts of a diesel jaw crusher: diesel engine, movable jaw plate, fixed jaw plate, eccentric shaft, toggle plate, bearing, liner, and so on.

How Does Diesel Jaw Crusher Work?

The working principle of a diesel jaw crusher is similar to that of an electric jaw crusher. The diesel engine generates mechanical power by burning diesel fuel. This power is transmitted to the crusher through the belt and belt pulley, making the moving jaw up and down through the eccentric shaft.

When the moving jaw is up, the angle between the lining plate and moving jaw becomes large, and this will push the moving jaw plate close to the fixed jaw plate. During this process, the material is crushed and ground, thus the crushing will be done.
