What Is a YGM High-pressure Suspension Roller Mill?

A YGM high-pressure suspension roller mill is a highly efficient grinding mill to produce fine powders. It is suitable for processing and grinding more than 400 kinds of non-flammable and explosive materials with Mohs hardness of less than 9.3 and humidity below 6%, such as quartz, feldspar, barite, fluorite, dolomite, garnet, silicon carbide, bauxite, zircon sand, marble, calcite, iron ore, phosphate rock, coal, ceramics, slag, etc. The particle size of the finished product can be adjusted between 30-425 mesh.

The YGM high-pressure suspension roller mill is similar to the Raymond mill, but the grinding device is equipped with high-pressure springs with a pressure of 1000-1500 kgs. When working, under the action of High-pressure springs and centrifugal force, the grinding roller rolls close to the grinding ring. Under the same conditions, the rolling pressure is 1.2 times higher than Raymond mill and the capacity can be increased by 20%-30%.

What Are the Parts of YGM High-pressure Suspension Mill?

Each grinding roller component of the high-pressure suspension roller mill is equipped with a spring, and the spring is equipped with a spring pressure plate, which is connected to the grinding roller hanger through a screw rod.

The YGM high-pressure suspension roller mill has several vulnerable components that are the grinding roller, grinding ring, high-pressure springs, and decelerator. They typically require regular maintenance or replacement.

How Does YGM High-pressure Suspension Mill Work?

When working, under the action of high-pressure spring and centrifugal force, the grinding roller rolls close to the grinding ring, and the shovel scoops up the material and sends it between the grinding rollers and the grinding ring. The grinding rollers roll with the grinding ring to achieve the purpose of grinding and crushing.

After the material is ground, the powder will be separated by the classifier with the circulating air of the blower. The coarse powder will fall back into the grinding chamber for regrinding, and the qualified powder with airflow will enter the cyclone powder collector, be collected, and finally be discharged through a duct as finished products.
