What Are the Parts of Cement Mill?

A cement ball mill is similar to the structure of a ball mill. The mill machine consists of the feeder, horizontal cylinder, hollow shaft, grinding media, feed device, discharge device, drive part, bearings, coupling, motor, etc. The cylinder is made of steel plate, and there is steel liner fixed on the cylinder. The grinding media are usually steel balls.

In a cement ball mill, several parts are susceptible to wear due to the constant impact in the grinding process. How Does Cement Mill Work?

This machine, as a grid ball mill, is a horizontal cylindrical turning device with edge gear and two warehouses. The material through the hollow shaft screw evenly enters the first warehouse, equipped with a ladder plate or corrugated plate with different specification steel balls. The cylinder rotating centrifugal force brings the steel balls to fall to a certain height to bang and grind the materials.

After the coarse ground in the first warehouse, materials are put into the second warehouse through a single-wall partition which is equipped with a plane liner and steel balls for regrinding. Then the powder discharges through the discharge grate plate. The grinding operation is finished.
