1. Material hardness

The mechanical properties of most ore materials are unevenly distributed. Materials with large block size and many texture gaps have poor mechanical strength and are easy to break; while the finer the particle size, the fewer internal texture gaps, the higher the mechanical strength, and it is not easy to break. The greater the hardness of the ore, the greater its density, the greater the difficulty of crushing, the lower the efficiency, and the more serious the wear on the equipment.

2. Feeding particle size and reasonable feeding amount

Each machine model has a limit on the maximum feeding particle size. If it is too large, it is easy to cause blockage and make the equipment lose its crushing function. Excessive fine powder in the material also affects the sand production. For materials with a lot of fine powder, they should be screened out in advance to avoid affecting the normal operation of the equipment.

While ensuring the output, the appropriate feeding amount is conducive to increasing the life of wearing parts. When the feeding amount reaches 7%~9% of the full load of the impeller, the sand production reaches the peak. If the feeding amount is too small, it will not only reduce the output of the equipment, but also increase the wear of the crushing chamber liner and shorten the replacement cycle of accessories.

3. Material humidity

That is, when the moisture content in the material is large, the material is easy to adhere in the impact sand making machine, and it is also easy to cause blockage during the feeding and conveying process, causing the sand production capacity to decrease. If the humidity of the selected material is too high, sunlight or air drying can be used to reduce the percentage of moisture in the material.

4. Material viscosity

The higher the viscosity of the material, the easier it is to adhere. Materials with high viscosity will adhere to the inner wall of the flow channel cavity in the impeller, and even block the flow channel. If they cannot be cleaned in time, it will affect the working efficiency of the crusher, and in serious cases, it may also affect normal operation. Therefore, when selecting materials, low viscosity should be selected.

II. Influence of impeller speed

Continuous materials enter the high-speed rotating impeller, and after acceleration, a continuous power flow is formed, which produces high-speed extrusion, grinding and crushing in the vortex cavity, and continuous crushing production is obtained. From the working principle of the vertical shaft impact crusher, it can be seen that when the particle size of the material is determined, the kinetic energy increases greatly with the increase of the linear speed of the crusher rotor; when the linear speed of the crusher rotor is balanced, if the material mass increases, the kinetic energy also increases, and vice versa.

There is a certain relationship between the particle size of the crushed stone and the linear speed of the rotor of the vertical shaft impact crusher. Under the premise of the same working state, if the particle size of the crushed material is large, the linear speed of the crusher rotor is low. It can be seen that when the material crushing intensity is large or the crushing particle size is small, the required crushing speed must be increased. Under the condition of the same particle size, moisture content and feed amount of the material entering the machine, the rotor speed (linear speed) of the crusher is appropriately increased, and the output of fine powder is increased.

III. Influence of working parameters

The performance and structural factors of the crusher have a great influence on crushing. The type and specification of the crusher, the economic rationality of the installed power, the speed adjustment range, the size of the discharge port and the structural form of the crushing chamber all have a great influence on the crushing efficiency. Changing the form of the surrounding lining plate in the crushing chamber, or adding a forging counter-attack plate, increasing the size of the crushing chamber discharge port, etc., can increase the production volume and significantly increase the amount of fine powder.

IV. Influence of production line design

An efficient sand production line not only requires the configuration of high-efficiency sand making equipment, but also its coarse crushing, medium crushing, screening and washing equipment, wastewater and mud material treatment equipment, etc. must meet the production capacity requirements. If a certain link fails to achieve the required crushing ratio, it will inevitably cause pressure and constraints on the next level of crushing, increase the system failure points, reduce its operating reliability, and ultimately reduce the sand output of the sand making machine.

V. Influence of operation and maintenance factors

Standardized operation and regular maintenance of the sand making machine will also affect the sand output of the equipment. If a sand making machine is not operated in a standardized manner during operation and is not regularly maintained, it will cause the wear of the equipment's vulnerable parts to accelerate, greatly reduce the life of the equipment, and the production volume per unit time is small.
